Overview
The greatest value of the Oreli project lies not in a new name or a distinctive identity, but in giving a business idea that had no brand a platform clear enough to start from and broad enough to grow on.
FreshBrand did not only help Oreli answer “What are we called?” It also answered the deeper questions: Who do we want to become? What do we want to stand for? What should customers feel? And how does all of that show up in practice?
Context
Where did the brand stand?
When a business idea starts from an ambition larger than a clinic
In 2017, the Vietnamese dental market was beginning to move from small, scattered clinics toward professionalization and modernization. In the big cities, cosmetic dentistry was growing along with demand for health, beauty and a good service experience.
In Dak Lak, however, the gap was still very wide. Most clinics were small and their operations were not standardized, while a professional, trustworthy cosmetic dental practice with a complete experience had yet to appear.
This was an entirely new starting point.
- No name yet.
- No positioning yet.
- No strategy yet.
- No identity yet.
- No identity system yet.
All of it had to be formed, guided by a purpose from the start: not only to create a clinic, but for FreshBrand to establish a vision and a long-term, lasting direction.

Problem
What really had to be created?
No model to follow, so everything had to be created from the ground up
A new business idea faced a gap in the market, but there was no model clear enough to simply “follow.”
The question, reframed
So the question was not:
“How can a new clinic differ from the existing ones?”
It was:
“How can a completely new business idea give rise to a brand with a role the market has never had?”
Discovery
What did FreshBrand see?
The gap was not a lack of one more clinic
The gap was a missing place trustworthy enough for people to entrust with their smiles.
FreshBrand recognized that the original ambition was larger than opening a dental clinic.
The ambition was to bring a new standard of service to a market that had not yet been fully reached by premium cosmetic dentistry. It was an “enlightening” way of thinking, not simply the thinking of running a clinic.
The market did not lack demand. It lacked an entity clear enough to turn latent demand into a new awareness.
People had had few chances to experience a place where expertise, dedication, honesty and convenience were shown consistently. So the new brand could not arrive with merely a better service. It had to arrive with a reason to be trusted.
It was not a chance to open one more dental clinic. It was a chance to be the first to bring the people of Dak Lak a premium, genuinely trustworthy standard of dental care.
This changed the whole creative direction that followed.

Point of view
How did FreshBrand read the problem?
In a market that had never had a premium standard, the brand had to become that standard.
FreshBrand did not see this project as one more clinic about to open in Dak Lak.
We saw it as a chance to create a new standard in a market without a fitting one.
So we were not building a clinic to compete with what already existed. We were building a place where the people of Dak Lak could feel, for the first time, what truly professional, dedicated and trustworthy dental care is.
Every decision after that, from naming and positioning to building values and the service experience, had to serve one goal:
To create a destination clear, strong and convincing enough to pioneer a new awareness of oral health and cosmetic care in the region.
It was not a choice to build a clinic that is nicer, more modern or better than what already existed.
It was a choice to create a brand that carried the role of a new standard from the very beginning.
Strategy
What did we choose?
Oreli did not start with a name. It started with a vision.
FreshBrand chose to start from a vision large and clear enough: to pioneer premium oral healthcare in Dak Lak, aiming at a cosmetic dental brand with a leading position in the region.
Next, we chose to create a brand able to carry two important values at once: dental expertise and trustworthiness.
Brand name
Odontology + Reliable = Oreli
The name Oreli was formed from Odontology and Reliable, linking expertise with trust. It is paired with the tagline “The smile you wish for,” which puts the smile at the emotional center of the brand.
Core values
- Professional expertise
- Happiness & Dedication
- Honest
- Utility & Convenience

Creation
How was the strategy brought to life?
There was no old brand to renew, so everything had to be created from the ground up.
So FreshBrand built the whole brand from the first foundation, with each component following from the strategic choice.
- Brand Platform
- Brand Strategy
- Brand Architecture
- Brand Name & Tagline
- Brand Identity
- Brand Expression
- Brand Experience
A consistent way of working
Professional but friendly.
Dedicated but modern.
Trustworthy but approachable.

Impact
What really changed?
From an idea with no shape, Oreli became a brand with a clear identity.
For more than 8 years, the platform built in 2017 has stayed in consistent use as Oreli grew from a single clinic into a system of several locations, step by step becoming a dental brand with an identity of its own.
That is when a brand goes beyond the role of an identity system.
2017
A business idea with no name, no identity and no brand form yet.
8+
Years of consistent use of the brand platform.

Value created
How did the brand come to mean more?
The greatest value lies not in creating a different brand, but in creating a brand that knows who it wants to become.
More than 8 years of growth show that the value of this approach lies not in the moment the brand launches, but in its ability to live on after the project ends.
Oreli was not born from a need for a “prettier” brand. It was born from a very specific opportunity: to create a standard the market did not yet have.
And that is the particular meaning of Brand Creation:
FreshBrand did not renew a brand that already existed. FreshBrand created a brand from zero, starting from a point of view large enough for the brand to grow with time.

Not to make a brand different. But to create a brand that knew from the start who it wanted to become.
